Herring roe (Kazunoko), and Herring roe on kelp (Kazunoko Kombu) is produced each spring for export to Japan. Strict grading and consistent quality have contributed to our product earning an excellent reputation in the Japanese market. Salmon roe is processed into both Sujiko, for Japan, and Ikura (single egg caviar) for Japan, Europe, and North America. Ikura is sold fresh or frozen in 3lb trays and 5lb pails.
